The Concentric - Hong Kong River Joint Venture was awarded the contract to provide and operate the barging point facilitiese at Kai Tak.The project, which is one of the MTR Shatin-Central Link contracts, involved the design and construction of two fixed barging points with conveying system and one floating jetty within the initial 6 months of the contract; thereafter operate the facilities for marine disposal of the excavated materials from other MTR Shatin-Central Link contracts until August 2016. Other critical deliverables included the dredging and marine disposal of contaiminated marine sediments from Tokawan Bay near the Barging Point Facilities.
